User Data Deletion Instructions

Learn how to request deletion of your personal data and Meta platform data from Garagzy.

1. Overview & Commitment

At Garagzy (operated by Indata LLC), we respect your privacy and provide full control over your personal data. In compliance with applicable data protection laws and Meta Platform Policies, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and any data obtained through our Facebook Login, WhatsApp Business integrations, or Garagzy platform services.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can submit a data deletion request through either of the following methods:

Method A: Direct Request via Email (Recommended)

To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data directly from Garagzy:

  • Send an email to hello@garagzy.com or support@garagzy.com with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request'.
  • Include your full name, registered email address, and the phone number / business name associated with your Garagzy account.
  • Our data protection team will verify your identity within 48 hours.
  • Upon verification, all your personal data, tokens, and account information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion process is complete.

Method B: Disconnect via Facebook / Meta App Settings

If you logged in or connected using Facebook / Meta and wish to revoke access and request data deletion via Meta:

  • Log into your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  • In the left navigation menu, click on Apps and Websites.
  • Locate Garagzy in your list of active apps and click View and edit (or Remove).
  • Click Remove to disconnect the application.
  • To request that Garagzy delete any data Facebook shared with the app, click 'Send Request' in the confirmation prompt.
  • Meta will send a deletion request notification to our servers, and we will delete your platform data accordingly.

3. Scope of Deleted Data

When a data deletion request is processed, the following information is permanently removed from our active databases:

  • User profile details (name, email address, phone numbers, avatars, job title).
  • OAuth access tokens, permissions, and Meta/Facebook/WhatsApp authorization credentials.
  • Business and garage profile information linked to the user.
  • Customer communications logs, marketing preferences, and temporary session data.

4. Data Retention & Legal Obligations

In certain circumstances, we may retain specific records where required by UAE statutory regulations, taxation laws, accounting compliance, or active dispute resolution.

Any retained records are strictly isolated, encrypted, and preserved only for the duration legally required.
